Hi everyone,
Our new online video maker at MakeWebVideo.com has been launched.
With MakeWebVideo.com, we are introducing a web application for making video presentations for businesses, individuals and families. Now anyone can easily, within a web browser, make videos based on professional templates.
Usually, it is a complicated and expensive process to create an advanced video presentation. But not anymore. WebMovieMaker.com has brought to the mainstream, the ability to make videos based on professional templates, without the assistance of video professionals nor expensive video editing software. All that is needed is a web browser and some photos and/or video clips that you upload to the service.
MakeWebVideo.com makes the whole creation process simple by boiling it down to just 3 easy steps. All you have to do is choose a video style, and customize the presentation with your photos, video footage, text and music. Then, within 30 minutes or so, your video will be ready.
Prices range from $9 to $39 per video. The video is hosted by the service but can also be downloaded. The service terms allow you to resell the videos, so you can make money by using the service to make videos for others.
Behind this unprecedented online service, is our patent pending technology for customizing video templates, and a proprietary cloud system that controls third party professional video editing tools.
Enjoy!

Today we released a new feature for creating photo realistic, ray traced 3D text. Now, anyone can create great looking 3D text and logos, easily. Fatpaint is the only web application in the world where you can do this.
At the moment we have 3 servers running, and we have purchased another 3 that we will deploy later this week. We will also start working on making it possible to create ray traced 3D clip-arts, drawings, e-book covers and other stuff that we know are very useful for companies when they want to promote their products online.
Let us know what you think about this new feature. Enjoy!

A new, very cool graphic design feature will soon be added to Fatpaint. We promise you’ll be amazed! We can give you a few hints… It’ll be very useful for you, easy to do and will allow you to create amazing graphics like a pro.
Fatpaint will be the first graphic design software in the world to have this feature. The new graphic design creation tools we are working on, will define Fatpaint’s path going forward and be our signature feature, further strengthening our position in the graphic design software industry.
We need a week or two to implement the last stuff, so we expect it to be ready for you by the end of the month.

Hi there,
This week we started working on the usability and design changes for Fatpaint v2. We promised ourselves that we will only use Fatpaint for making the design of our new user interface and web pages, and so far during this process, we already identified several flaws and issues that will be fixed/improved. We are very confident that Fatpaint v2 will be a much better product.
Yesterday and the day before, I spend most of the time on the Fatpaint editor, designing mock-ups for the new user interface, and I discovered quite a few things with Fatpaint that I’m not happy with. Most irritating is the slow performance when working with many objects and the user interface. So today I went back to working with the code, to fix some of these annoying issues.
A lot is going to change in the coming 3 months. During this period, we will be releasing many new versions and possibly also introduce some bugs. I’m still the only person doing all the work, so I probably won’t be spending the amount of time with testing that I should.
I encourage our current users to help us on this process by reporting bugs or improvement suggestions.
Thank you.

I am very pleased to announce that Fatpaint is finally out of beta. We added a community page and it is now possible to share the images you create, with your Facebook friends and with the Fatpaint community, so that people can comment your artwork.
We also created a bunch of new tutorial videos to help you get started. So go ahead and start creating some cool designs and share them with the community.
If you like Fatpaint, contribute by buying a product or by becoming a Premium user, and help keep Fatpaint free to use.
Thank you and enjoy.

Lots of things happend during the last few weeks, lots of new kode were added and quite a few bugs as well, oh well… Thats the price for hurring up…
We recently implemented painting with dynamic brushes, and today we are very pleased to announce that Fatpaint now has support for pressure sensitive graphic tablets. We are pretty sure that Fatpaint is the first full featured online graphic software to have this support. So all of you out there that have a tablet, such as the Wacom Bamboo Pen, go see if it works with Fatpaint.
We tested the Wacom Bamboo Pen and Touch tablet on Windows 7, and it worked as expected. We had a few crashes on the Java pluging, when switching the focus away from the editor window and returning to the editor window for more painting. So, avoid switching to other windows in beetween painting with the tablet, if you do it, save the project first. In our case, the crash was only on the Java plugin, the editor frooze while Java was hanging, but them it returned to normal after the Java plugin was disposed by Google Chrome. We did not test on Mac or Linux.
The next few days, we will implement support for saving image files locally on the users computer. The uploading of large images is just to slow, so, it’s a must have…
Thats it for now.

We just released a new re-branded and redesigned website. The new name is Fatpaint.com.
We were supposed to release this version next week, but due to server problems, we decided to release it today. Because we released earlier than anticipated, we did not finish everything. The new videos are missing, and the Template system is not implemented, among other smaller features.
We hope you will like the new design and usability improvements, fell free to post comments about this new release, we apreciate your feedback.
